SCHS NE 7th Annual Fundraising and Awards Banquet

The St. Catherine High Alumni Association ( “SCHSNE”) requests the pleasure of your company at its 7th Annual Fundraising and Awards Banquet (“Banquet”). The Banquet will be held on October 15, 2016 at the World Astoria Manor, 25-22 Astoria Boulevard, Queens, NY 11102.  As you may know this is the largest fundraiser for the chapter, which funds scholarships and fund projects at our alma mater.

The theme for this year’s Banquet is “Reaching New Heights.”  During the evening, we will be honoring the scholarship recipients and celebrating individuals and organizations that have empowered the Jamaican community. We are pleased to announce this year’s honorees are:

Guest Speaker and the Awardee of the Outstanding Alumni Award- alumnus, the Most Reverend Kenneth Richards, the Archbishop of Kingston.
Community Service Award- Food for the Poor, Inc., one of the largest international relief and development organizations in the United States.
The Banquet committee has been working diligently over the past several months to make this year a memorable one. Special recognition will be given to the class years celebrating milestones. As you may know, when planning an event, the vendor requires that a final head count be given 10 days prior to the event. Due to additional cost incurred when additional placement is requested, the price will increase at the door to $110.00.  Therefore, please take advantage of purchasing your ticket early so that we can plan appropriately.
